Christmas drawing near!

What's your ideal Christmas break? For me, it is probably to stay somewhere really warm and cosy, where I can rest in comfort in front of a crackling log fire, sipping a rather large glass of red wine. I'd also want to be able to go for some lovely country walks, stepping through crisp frost and breathing out water vapour plumes into the air as I enjoy the sights and sounds of nature around me.

Is this the sort of thing you like? If so, you may be in luck! At the time of writing, Myrtle House is available for the week of Christmas and New Year, and offers all this and more to guests. The log fire in the main sitting room is particularly appropriate for this time of year! (Having two TVs also helps to sidestep the possible arguments over whether to watch the James Bond film or the Queen's speech!)
